Private Lessons

$75 per hour (55 minutes of instruction)

$45 per hour (25 minutes of instruction)

Private lessons are scheduled at the mutual convenience of the instructor and the student.  A variety of times are available throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening Monday-Friday.

Private lessons are typically held at one of our "home" studios:  Avondale Dance Directions serves Westside, Riverside, and Orange Park;  Boleros Dancesport Center serves Arlington, Southside, and Mandarin.  Other arrangements may be available on an individual basis.

What happens on a private lesson?

Group Classes

Pricing can vary -- usually $10-20 per person, per class.

We typically offer group classes in a 4- or 6-week series of one class per week.

Currently, our group classes are on a break.  But if you have a group of friends, neighbors, workers, etc who'd like to learn together, we would be happy to help put together and teach your very own group class (see below).

How do group instruction and private instruction compare?

Private Groups

$75 per class..........up to 7 participants

$10 per person.......8+ participants

A private group is a class that you put together, consisting of your friends, family, or acquaintances.  Such a class would be closed to outside enrollments and would focus on any dance your group wants to learn.  Typically, your group comes to one of our studio locations.  A $25 travel fee applies if we come to your location.  A private group can be a one-time event, or a series of lessons over any number of days / weeks you request.

Party / Event Entertainment

Monday-Friday................$75 per hour, per instructor

Saturday-Sunday.........$125 per hour, per instructor

Travel fee.........................$25 per event

Adding a little dance instruction to your party, wedding, or corporate event is a great way to entertain your guests.  You can request specific dances, or leave it up to us.  We provide the instruction and music, and can bring a small boom box if necessary.

After the instruction we can gracefully disappear, or keep the fun going with party music and a dance atmosphere.
