Scheduled at your convenience, we can plan a Wedding Party Workshop just for you and your Bridal Party.  It's your own private class to introduce the basics of social dancing, with the added fun of getting the Bride & Groom, Parents, and Attendants together for some social time and group fun.  You pick the dances, or tell us what songs your band / DJ will be playing, and we'll teach dances to match. 

In this workshop, you and other couples will learn the fundamentals that everyone needs to know - such as basic moves, transitions, presentation, and floorcraft - with plenty of practice to your wedding reception songs.   

When:  Bridal Party Workshops are scheduled based on mutual availability.

Where:  Avondale Dance Directions, 1650-5 Hamilton Street, Jacksonville, FL 32210

Cost:  $35 per couple, with a 4-couple minimum

What happens after the workshop:   You should leave the workshop with enough social basics to practice on your own and make your reception more fun for your entire wedding party. 

Honor Dances:  Ah, the solo moments in the spotlight...If you're interested in learning a Bride / Groom First Dance, a  Father / Daughter Honor Dance, or a Mother / Son Honor Dance customized to your own music and abilities, we offer personalized private instruction as well.  Private lessons are $75 per hour and are scheduled at mutual convenience.
